Jean Dubost

Jean Dubost is a French family firm designing and manufacturing a wide range of flatware and knives. 

Established in 1920 by Pierre Dubost and his wife Marcelle Pradel in Viscomtat, a small mountain village not far from Thiers, France. Thiers is famous worldwide as the capital of high quality cutlery.

Initially, the production only concerned knives solely intended for professionals, however the range developed quickly by Jean Dubost, the founder’s son, to include flatware and kitchen knives. The range soon gained international renown bearing Jean's name as a mark of quality.

The company continued to grow with Jean, his son Philippe and his grandson Alexandre, the 4th generation of Dubost cutlers to carry on with the Dubost tradition of attention to detail and listening to their customers.

Today, with this wealth of knowledge and their desire to provide authentic excellence, Jean Dubost is always in search of new trends and developing new ideas, offer you a wide range of flatware, knives and kitchen utensils.

Jean Dubost has been awarded the EPV (Living Heritage Company) label and combines traditional knowledge with industrial know-how.
